The Tangibility of God

Musing on the recent tangibility of God through the prophetic and healing, my wife said something that hit the nail on the head. "The fears that we have in life - that God won't meet us, speak to us, heal us, accept us - is all smoke and mirrors. The spiritual came first!"
How true! Only thing coming between what happened in the Garden and today is history... Time spent and legacies left of not believing God or the truth and instead constantly listening to the destructive whispers of that Serpant of old.
Hear now and believe today that God was, is and always be the lover of our souls and He desires for us to KNOW Him.
There is where we will find freedom.

Security in Christ

There is a certain security & peace in knowing the goodness of God.

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 NASB)

Because in His goodness He reveals mysteries & gives wisdom where we otherwise fret.

"My son, do not reject the discipline of the L ord Or loathe His reproof, For whom the L ord loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding. For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold. She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways And all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who hold her fast. My son, let them not vanish from your sight; Keep sound wisdom and discretion, So they will be life to your soul And adornment to your neck. Then you will walk in your way securely And your foot will not stumble. For the L ord will be your confidence And will keep your foot from being caught. Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it." (Proverbs 3:11-18, 21-23, 26, 27 NASB)

But the KEY lies here:

"But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." (James 1:6-8 NASB)

It is in the KNOWING Christ and His goodness, not merely the asking.
Do ask & yet do believe.
He is ALL that He says He is!

Rediscover Sonship

It seems God has been doing a new thing... Well, not a new thing at all. An old thing, but a thing that we're only now grasping.

Our US economy is under strain, our outlook for the future seems dim, our governmental structure is flawed at best and there's a huge struggle to trust God in the small things as much as the big things.
But it's our lateral thinking that gets the best of us.
We have for generations become increasingly reliant on our world system rather than God as our provider & source.

But He's renewing an old thing and that is forcing us, even the most devout and faithful, to truly know Him and trust Him as Father more than just Savior.

There's the old saying, "there's no such thing as an atheist in a foxhole" but even we, the devout, wait until the foxhole situations in life before we call out to Him.

We have still a long way to go to truly wrap this around our head. Some may not see it until they've suffered loss. For some, it's their job or their income has suffered. For some through the loss of a loved one and yet to some it may be losing everything. But it's not His desire that we suffer, only that we understand. His desire is that we KNOW HIM as Father.

Galatians 4:1-7 Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

We have the keys to the Kingdom cuz the King is our Dad. All we have to do is ask and He IS faithful and just and He loves us.

Our current world system is failing and those things that we unknowingly trust in are fading away. He is our ONLY true source. His system does not fail.

Let us return and rediscover sonship.
